Excuse me for getting obsessed with ratings to match Willy on parking, Evanston on Colter or GCG on one word answers, but something is way off here. Let’s compare Iowa and NU verbals for 2020.
Recruit,247 composite ranking, 247 composite score, Rivals rating, P5 offers:

Skoronski 197, 92.4, 5.8 8
Atkinson 279, 90.7, 5.6. 5
R-Yaseen. 409, 88.6, 5.8. 13
Priebe 511. 87.6, 5.7, 17
Porter. 521. 87.4, 5.7, 6
Maldonado. 637, 86.8, 5.6. 5
McLaughlin. 835, 85.7, 5.5. 9
Edwards. 854, 85.6, 5.5. 13
Mueller. 1057, 84.8, 5.6. 2
Welcing. 1083, 84.7, 5.5, 1
Wrather. 1164, 84.2, 5.5. 10
Joseph, 1365, 83.3, 5.6, 5
Lang, 2058, 79.0, 0, 1

NU average 86.2 rating with 7.2 average P5 offers.
Average Rivals stars 2.92 (Lang 0 star impact)
Rivals NU current team rank 19 tie
247 NU current team rank 19

Based on offers Edwards and Wrather are clearly ranked low. Priebe seems like a 4 star. Joseph also seems low. Mueller and Welcing would be high based on offers. Atkinson’s composite is much higher than Rivals opinion. Next let’s look at Iowa and see if my beef that they get the benefit of the doubt holds water.
