Can't describe how big this win feels. Feels like the biggest win in years.

What a rollercoaster this game was. I'm a believer in Braun and this team. Doesn't matter how much adversity, this team rose to the moment with a classic Cardiac Cats win.

They fought and fought and fought
The biggest thing I saw different versus last year is that we didn’t hang our heads and give up. We got better as the game went on and we sure fought. Every game we seemed to get better after halftime whereas last year if we weren’t already boatraced we would get worse.

That’s coaching.

Congratulations to the team and to Coach Braun on a great win!

Braun has impressed so much the past few months. I really, really hope he sticks around here a while.

Who knows, maybe he's on the way to coaching his way into the HC job for a fair bit longer.

Nobody can say this team has quit on him or the season; we haven't seen this team compete like this since Nebraska last year.

So happy for our coaches and especially the players who have stuck together and played hard every down. Way to go guys.
Mr Fleck May want to check his boat before he heads back to Minneapolis, l think it sprang a few leaks there in the 3rd and 4th qtrs.

I am impressed to and think he can be a great coach but I don’t think he is the guy right now. We need someone who can recruit too, and I mean way better than Fitz. Braun still has a lot to learn including building his network and being a P5 coach. I would love to see the next guy come in and retain him as DC though.

Congrats to Coach Braun for his first BigTen victory. Memorable comeback win. I wonder what happened in the 2nd half that enabled Bryant to light up our offense. It seemed night and day between first and second half esp with the passing game he seemed a lot more accurate. Quite a turnaround. Always a nice to beating Fleck and Minny. I’m sure this game didn’t make my Minny grad friend feel any better, he’s been camped out at home recovering from Covid.

First conference win at Ryan Field in front of fans since 2018.

Yeah that's entirely fair given that we're in the midst of a rebuild; just hard not to be happy that we brought him here and he was available to get us through this season.

Sticking around as DC would be great if possible. He's young and serving as a Power 5 DC would be good for him in terms of experience.

Very impressed with Bryant, of course, but the O-line played very well and the defense made stops when it counted most. Hagarty was just a great addition - great third down stop that got us the ball back. We could really use a punter though. Kirtz was simply not able to be defended

I’m also concerned about our short punts which generally have been under 40yds. It seems that is one aspect of special teams to improve.

Rutgers in 2021, no?
Yeah, fact that the number is 2 though is kind of astonishing in its own right (even though the 2020 season attendance was lost to Covid).

It has been a brutal past 5 years for the home crowds; happy for the fans that showed up today and stuck through it.

The young man asked, "How did the 'Cats win this game?"

The wiser man answered, "At first gradually, then suddenly. That is how you win."
Nice take.

Kudos for hosting the live chat and having Wildcat Willie join us just in time to bring the needed karma that propelled the Cats toward a win.

That Henning TD was very Sam Simmonsesque to me. Great throw by BB.
Simmons was just open on that play. On this one, Bryant sold another fade so hard, excellent pump fake. He used his eyes to draw the safety. Bryant got Henning open and then threw another (wait for it) BEN BRYANT “BB”.

This is the best WR thread since Ireland. Maybe since clinching the West in 2020.

GO CATS GO CATS GO CATS GO CATS GOOOOOOOOO

Braun was amazing in the postgame. He’s got so much invested, knowing his chances of lasting are small, he’s got everything in ‘the 103 who stayed’.

Great job by the players not to pack it in after all the adversity of the past couple of seasons. The West is so awful this season that they might actually have a chance to win some more. Even though I'm not a big fan of throwing all the teams into one mega division, I'm run out of any rational arguments for keeping the divisions in their current form. Iowa, supposedly one of the better West teams, was utterly dominated by Penn State. I know the Hawkeyes had some players out, but four first downs and 14 minutes of possession? The Cats might even have a shot at them.
