What a sh*tty day

I feel your loss. 3 years ago we put down our 16 year old Shepherd mix. This past February our 10 year old Husky Akita mix had a seizure that killed it.

But after giving it some time, we have a 5 month old German Shepherd pup.

We move on, but we never forget.

Sorry to hear about your dog. We recently lost a long time canine companion also. It really hits you hard.

Football is just a game being played by some kids.

Our dog died this morning too. :(

At least the Cubs won
Sorry to here about your loss. Just last year our 11 year old skye terrier passed, unexpectedly. After grieving and waiting a couple of months we drove to Boston to rescue a six year old skye. He's a handful but lots of fun and has helped us and our other dog to stop grieving. Just remember all the good times you had together and think about adopting another dog in need.

Thanks again to everyone for their well wishes. Even though she was sick and it wasn't that big of a surprise, it's still hard.

As a friend said, it's not just like losing a family member. She was family. Been with my wife and I almost since we were married and was really our first child. Dogs are the best. Unquestioningly loyal and unconditionally loving. We will really miss her.

I hardly come on here anymore, but had to reply to this. Sorry E-cat. They are family. We adopted a 9 year old cocker in Feb, and thought we were adopting a 10yr old 3 weeks ago, but hes 2. They may be expensive, but they are caring and sweet and always there. I was devastated when my 7yr old girl died in 08. You won't ever forget, and like Willy said, rescue one after you heal some.

Very sorry ECat. I know you loved that dog. My beloved Bulldog almost died a year and a half ago from a seizure (brain tumor which we have treated), and that possibility was pretty awful. May she rest in peace.

Real sorry E-Cat. It is heartbreaking to lose a pet, I know from experience.
