I see the odds are 55-45 Cats win the West title! 15-85 the BT Title as no one can stop the run game of OSU! 3-97% the National Title! Only Alabama can stop Ohio State. What say you?

As an OSU fan I think in the conference MSU certainly has a shot to win the East. Whomever wins the West, if they play to their potential and OSU doesn't, can win in the B10 Championship.

Nationally: Alabama, Auburn, another SEC Champion, TCU, Baylor, The ACC Champion, The PAC-12 Champion, can all beat OSU in a single game. Actually, any team can win in a single, game including OSU's game against VT this Monday.

As far as NU, I would see it against the odds for them to win the West, but not out of the question. Maybe 30-35% chance. Anything after that would be icing on the cake at this point.

While we've got you, Klemman, who do YOU think should start at QB for the Buckeyes?

It's so up in the air I don't know if I'm qualified to determine who "should" start.

What I'd like to see is Cardale because he came back to play and during the run in the Conference Championship Game. Also because Barrett has three more years of eligibility so it works out very neatly.

I can't remember being more confident in watching a Buckeye QB when he dropped back to pass. I knew Joe Germaine in 1997-1998 was great at throwing a catchable pass, and that with the exception of the National Championship against Florida Troy Smith could, come through in the clutch. But with Cardale you got the feeling that he could put the ball anywhere he needed with little effort.

What I think is going to happen is Barrett will be the starter. Barrett is better at running the read option, a more natural leader, prepares better in both the practice field and film room, and makes better decisions on the field.

Either way, I won't be upset and it's a crazy comforting feeling to know that if your Heisman candidate QB gets injured, you won't feel that the team's chances to win it all isn't diminished.

I'll bite: 12% to win the West, 4% to win the Big Ten 0.5% to win the national title.

Not sure but our odds arent any worse than wisconsin or nebraska. The schedule doesnt line up favorably with us playing them on the road but i know we got a very good team.

Not very high. Too many holes. Still could be a great year after the last two if they avoid the injury bug and play basic, solid football. Win the games you are suppose to win, punt the ball more than twenty yards, don't let the quarterback get killed, the wide receivers get open, don't drop every pass over twenty yards, etc. Very capable of doing that and more.
