Here's my breakdown of what Pat Fitzgerald's suspension means for Northwestern moving forward.

Well written Matt. The program deserves this type of scrutiny on this.

Phatcat has to add some sarcasm: "The only downside is that he'll come back just before the start of Big Ten Media Days on July 26-27,".

That's actually true punishment for Fitz. He would probably have the suspension DURING the media days

I'm with phatcat on this; it's a *good* thing that Fitz has to come back to media days and face the media.

Past years they may not have had many questions..., but I'd be shocked if he doesn't get pointed questions about what happened and why he didn't know despite being HC.

At least so far it seems like he didn't know what was happening; but he's still responsible for it as HC.
