So many guys playing like crap I would have expected to see him much earlier. I really hope McIntosh is sick because he has been terrible the last 2 games.

It finally just occurred to Collins to put him in the game. I love Collins, but his overlooking of Taphorn really bugs me. Taphorn is shooting 50 percent from three and plays solid d in zone (not great, but not as bad as some like to claim.)

This appears to be a serious oversight by CC, unless there's something we don't know about Taphorn's physical condition ... but he looked fine when he finally saw the floor. So, what indeed IS up?

Maybe he was in the doghouse for something like being late for practice. Otherwise I think he would've seen action in the first half.
