There are many who contributed to yesterday's poor performance. I don't want to bash anyone. But it seems fairly obvious that Zach Oliver was not ready for prime time. And what players are in their first start? It is rare.
But isn't that what many have been saying for this entire year? That the second and third string quarterbacks should be getting more than a couple of handoff's at the end of the game to get them ready for such an occurrence as the the first string quarterback being injured. How many times has this lack of getting Zach into the game been lamented this year?
Someone is responsible for that decision, and in my opinion, that lack of foresight contributed greatly to yesterday's loss. By the end of the game Zach looked like he was getting a rhythm. Do you agree? Why was Zach just seeing the field for real action after Trevor went down?
It is these kind of glaring mistakes that bother me most about this program, which I love. Thoughts? I am asking a sincere question here, no bashing each other or coaches please.
