I am completely biased, but I would choose Boo without hesitation. He is working on 5 years of B1G basketball, which speaks for his experience and savvy. One of Boo's standout qualities is his shiftiness and exceptional court vision, which is arguably on par with, if not better than, any other player in his position. He has a remarkable ability to draw fouls consistently, making him a reliable offensive asset. Additionally, Boo excels as a defender, particularly in passing lanes, showcasing his defensive development. When it comes to scoring, Boo is a valuable asset able to score at every single level. What sets him apart, in my opinion, is his exceptional ball-handling skills and decision making, rarely ever turning the ball over.
While there may be others on this list who score more, like Young, it is important to consider the talent surrounding the guards. This can give us insight into whether the guard is required to focus more on facilitating plays or scoring. In the case of Buie, I believe he could achieve similar numbers to Young if he was playing for Maryland, and I believe Young's assists and turnovers would improve at NU. Another standout player is Walker, who possesses remarkable quickness and expertise in slashing through defenses which could get some looks at the next level as a late 2nd Rounder or UDFA. However, I firmly believe that as a college player Buie surpasses his peers in terms of all-round abilities.
