Ok, I'll take the bait and give my view of who we have a shot at by position. Before you blast me, let me admit that I have zero information other than offer lists and comments by the recruit. This feels like the 2013 class with later commits. We had 9 verbals at this time in both 2014 and 2015. I am glad to see the recent evaluations has resulted in more offers. Not sure we will get many from our initial A list.

QB - neither Josh Jackson or Anthony Brown jumped on the open spot after Deuce bolted and that worries me. I am thinking if we are going to get one of these two we would have already. Aidan Smith seems more likely, especially if Brown goes to BC. Steven Frank may be a later offer similar to Yates last year.

RB's -Jeremy Larkin and Tre Bryant are top targets. Either would be great. Larkin seems to be tiring of the recruitment and might be waiting for something big out there. He'll probably get more offers as decommits happen. Bryant has exploded and like Larkin seems undervalued. Big visit in a couple of weeks.

WR- Not sure how many we are taking after the boatload last year. Ben Skowronek seems to be a heavy NU lean. Donald Stewart will likely go to Michigan.

OL- the big fish is Will Fries and I think we are still in it. Trent Maynard would be a nice pick up and we should be in his final group. Cameron Kolwich and Sam Heckel both strike me as guys waiting for their State U to offer. Think we are a back up choice for them. Ben Knutson is large and think we are competitive for him. Jesse Meyler seems to have legit interest. Zach Bycznski is a guy we may offer late. Ryan Becker may be an option if we can get him up here.

DL- Khalid Kareem is the big dog, but he has a who's who of offers. Tommy Carnifax on campus today, so he clearly is in the picture. Jovann Swann is a nice DT prospect and we'll be in his final few. Adam Korutz is a sleeper and Army appears in the lead. Not sure what is going on with Jake Saunders, but thought he was a NU lean early on. It's been dark on him for awhile.

LB- Griffin Grady and Jango Glackin will pick between Bucky and NU. We may be second for both. Don't see Xander Gagnon leaving ACC country. Ethan Tucky may be intrigued by our Superback offer.

DB- already got two, so this could be the position that fills up first. A lot of strong players in this group, including long shot Patrice Rene. Safeties Nick McCloud and Jordan Mack from down south would be nice gets. The Katy Texas duo of Collin Wilder and Travis Whillock would be a nice package. If they come, might as well bring Paddy Fischer at LB too.

What is clear is that many of the eventual commits aren't on our radar yet, but I am sure Fitz and staff have them scoped out. We'll probably only get a small handful of the guys listed above.
