If Thorson gets injured on a drive and we need someone to come in immediately I would think that you'd put in Oliver because of his experience. If we're up big in the 2nd half put in Alviti to get real time action.

He needs to get more experience but I would have Jackson, Vitale, and some of the experienced D guys sitting the 2nd half. What I do want to see is the replacement QB being allowed to run the normal offense, including passing down field. Need to have the 2nd and 3rd string QB's get have real game experience, unlike last season.
