Didn't NU hand Michigan their only loss in their last 11 games?Starters were burnt out! That's on coaches, trainers, and players. Got to protect the body! Follow Michigan, they play well later in season.

Dang!!!
I remember! Last game Ash played in! After he got hurt,we lost our defensive mojo and lost seven in a row. Dang!Didn't NU hand Michigan their only loss in their last 11 games?

You are a lot smarter than me,Walkerfan. I hope the cats make the tournament next year with Brown,Lathon,or Ash at the point guardToo funny. When you play 32 basketball games, injuries occur. BTW, Ash' s injury did not have anything to do with the way NU finished the season. Now injuries to your best players like McIntosh and Law do seriously hurt a team like NU whose bench was unproductive all season long. NU needed solid and consistent contributions from their big three which became four with the emergence of Pardon on offense. NU lost their last 7 games due to injuries to McIntosh which cost them in the Rutgers, MSU and Maryland games and cost us the UW game as he was not 100 percent back. Ash is a below average Big 10 point guard. Too bad some have no clue and can't figure that out yet. Ash could not even start at PG on his high school team. That is a telling sign. Glynn Watson was the point guard at St. Joseph's and is 10 times a better PG than Ash and has led UNL over the past three seasons. LOL.
We were short 4 players before the season even started. Open scholarship, Turner having to sit out, RAP and slow recovery of Falzon led to a lot of minutes for the core. Add the inability of Brown to earn minutes plus the compressed schedule and disaster was not far awayStarters were burnt out! That's on coaches, trainers, and players. Got to protect the body! We were too thin! But Collins relied on starters way too much!We were short 4 players before the season even started.
