Why are none of these games on ESPN/ESPN2?

Always BTN or that dreadful ESPNU. Seems a little strange that with our quest for the dance being a national story, we don't get many nationally covered games (tonight's for example, should have been). And even things like Maryland coming up remain on BTN or the U. Strange.

Had we beaten Butler, ND or Purdue, our odds would've been better. Until tonight our best win was Dayton.

We have to force our way on. Beat Maryland and we might see ourselves playing Purdue or Michigan, etc. on one of the networks.

FWIW, as I viewed it, our win was the "Lead" on the scrolling ESPNU scrolling tag line this evening, which I assume was also replicated on ESPN and ESPN2.

Unlike football, I think basketball TV schedule is pretty much locked in before the season starts and no one (not even here) saw this team being this good this year minus two of our three leading scorers.

This. You can't play your way onto the networks for the most part. We could be undefeated and #1 in the country and our TV schedule would be the same.

The only exceptions are "wild card" games like our games at Indiana and vs. Purdue. It is possible that the Purdue game will be on CBS, for example. That news should come out in the next day or two.
