Charlie Kuhbander was a top 5 kicker coming out of HS and was bad too. Not sure why NU can’t seem to figure out special teams this century. And when was the last time we returned a kick?

Returning kicks is too aggressive and not complementary football. Why risk starting at the 22 when you can take the touchback and start at the 25. It’s about field position.
