Why no Mitchell on kick offs?

I could not watch the game but listened to WGN and the game. Mitchell had a very powerful kick off last year and this year we get someone else who didn't do as well. Wondering why Fitz is doing this?

I didn't see who was kicking off on TV. Missed it. Perhaps Fitz' way to get another kicker experience? Stanford was generally starting around the 30 after good NU coverage.

Matt Micucci was kicking off. He has a good leg but he was not consistent. The Stanford punter was their MVP. That kid saved their ass today by consistently flipping the field.

Well, either the punter was MVP or the ref that was spotting where the punts went out of bounds. They seemed consistently 5-10 yards off.

The ball spot was terrible, and the crowd gave the ref an earful every time
