I have read a lot of comments about officiating, and whether it may have cost the Badgers the game.
However, I have read very little on the play that ultimately did WI in. Yes, I am referring to "the Sack".
Wasn't it STRATOSPHERICALLY IDIOTIC one or more of:
1) The Wiscy QB allowing the sack to occur. Didn't he know that that would be completely devastating for WI, and all but signify a loss, whereas getting rid of the FB would give him another down with reasonable time left on the clock.
2) The Wiscy coaches almost literally shouting through the PA system: WE ARE DEFINITELY GOING TO PASS FOR ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN...yes, from the ONE, and yes we ARE a BIG TEN team.
3) For the Wiscy coaches to call a shotgun play with the QB 4+ yards behind the LoS.
