Nova really an impressive team. DiVicenzo off the bench? You have to be kidding me.
I wouldn’t say elite. More like well-regarded. Had a good offer list but not much interest from the national powerhouses. A rivals 3 star recruit.DiVicenzo was an elite recruit

I guess it all depends on what you mean by elite. My point was that you don't see offers from schools such as Kentucky, Duke, Michigan State or Kansas (i.e. schools that we have no history of successfully recruiting against). Based on his rankings and offer sheet, he would have been a big pick-up for Northwestern, but it wouldn't have been unprecedented). As it happens when he committed he committed to a school that at the time wasn't thought of as a favorite to win national championships but had the advantage of being about 45 minutes from his high school.Scout had him as a 4 star and ESPN had him as a four star.
He had offers from Penn State, Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State, Virginia Tech and a bunch of others.
He killed it right before his senior year and his recruiting blew up.
