The Tom Allen era at Indiana, once so promising, came to an end with a resounding splat.
But Indiana sure looks serious about picking up the pieces. The Hoosiers made an inspired hire in Curt Cignetti, and IU is splashing some cash...the new DC is making $1.1 mil a year!
Indiana also has some interesting pieces on Offense...but this defense was arguably the worst in the Big Ten last year, and it's a long road up.
Cignetti will probably make some strides in Bloomington, and this is a friendly schedule. How much progress can he make in year 1?
