Hard not to vote for him this year

That he was voted in by the coaches shows some definite respect for Braun. That he was voted by the media shows respect for Braun and legitimacy for the NU football program, which was much maligned just a few months ago.

This should also give him some recruiting street cred - being Coach of the Year amongst the tenured guys in the B1G is something to hang your hat on and should give recruits and families some confidence in NU.
