Agree. Heck of a game. UNL is ranked #4 in the nation. The VB team took Nebraska to five sets today, and almost won it all in the fourth set (lost 25-23). The team really looks good this year; I would not want to play them in the NCAA’s this year.
And they had 3200 for OSU. Good to see VB drawing some good crowds: larger than men’s BB non- con games.
Was it mostly Nebraska fans?
Mostly NU fans, and I think we charged Nebraska fans $50 a ticket…..Was it mostly Nebraska fans?
I have played competitive VB for 50 years, and I much prefer the women’s game to the men’s. Much better and more frequent rallies, and incredible skill levels. The men’s game has become too much a pure power game with the ball crossing the net only a couple times each point.I’ve become a big fan of college volleyball. My other school UC San Diego has pretty decent teams and recently elevated to D1. I watch games in-person and on ESPN. It’s non-stop action.
