Just missed a few 8 footers on the back nine or he would be in 3rd place! Still, he beat Ricky Fowler by 11 shots so far!

Unfortunately, he had a meltdown on the back nine today. Gave up six strokes to par over five holes. Just can’t seem to put together four solid rounds.

Do you think Luke is just trying to keep his game sharp to go on the seniors tour in five years? Lipsky and Wu both made the cut in Mexico. He missed it by a mile.

Luke is still trying to find a game. Wildly inconsistent off the tee. Iron play overall is just OK. At times it is awful. And his short game ain’t what it use to be. He’s a double or triple bogey waiting to happen. Current world ranking is 513.

I don’t think the Senior tour will help him much. It’s not like he’s playing well — just not well enough. He might make a few more cuts. But short and crooked hurts no matter the course or competition. GOUNUII

Unfortunately, only Lipsky made the cut. I think you are confusing Dylan Wu with Brandon Wu, which is easy to do. :)

In Mexico Luke actually drove the ball well and hit lots of greens in regulation, His problem was putting. He averaged 309 off the tee and drove it pretty straight.
Also Luke skips a lot of tournaments now, so his world ranking is way down. He has made $250,000 so far this year, which isn't really much, but he is now worth about 40 million, so he isn't real concerned about where he stands on the money list. His best finishes this year were the Valspar, Hawaii, and Pebble Beach.

Luke still shows flashes of his old self. Coming back from injury is not easy.
