Barring an Andre Hollins explosion, the Cats' 2-3 defense should see some success against a Gopher offense that ranks last in the Big Ten in assists

Also, it will also be interesting to see how Collins plans for a high-pressure Gopher defense (maybe more Taphorn as we saw down the stretch versus Iowa). Junior Carlos Morris and freshman Nate Mason are second and third in the Big Ten in steals for a Minnesota team that is second in the nation in steals (10.5 per game).

Both team come out hot from deep, four threes for the Cats (2 for Lindsey, 1 for BMac and Tre), three for Minnesota. 16-13 Wildcats at 13:28

Demps and Lindsey both start strong - shooting, and a great assist by Demps. Olah not so strong on offense, but he's been a presence on the defensive end.

Aggressive play from Gavin Skelly, makes a tip in off a missed Tre three, then gets to the line with a solid head fake

Back to back threes by Mac and Taphorn end six scoreless minutes for the Cats, deficit cut to one

Another three from Tap off McIntosh's inbound pass, Cats up two. BMac quietly with 6 points and 3 assists, Tre Demps out with two fouls

I'm sure Sobo is a great kid, but boy that 2-3 defense is a lot different with Lindsey at the top instead of Sobo. Lindsey has that length and quickness that causes problems. Sobo is just too easy to pass around.

Wow I called that one wrong. 36 points on 50 percent shooting for the Gophers without a single point from Hollins, although he did have 5 assists.
