Northwestern recently hosted grad transfer Keenan Fitzmorris from Stony Brook for an official visit.

The 7-footer played four years at Stanford and the last two at Stony Brook, so next year would be his SEVENTH year. He redshirted his first year at Stanford way back in 2018-19, and also sat out a year with an injury. In 2022-23, he made 29 starts for the Sea Wolves and averaged 9.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Last year, he appeared in 35 games but made just 11 starts, averaging 10.9 points and 4.4 rebounds. He would be brought in as a backup center for Matt Nicholson.

The visit went "very well" according to a source. DePaul and Louisville look to be the competition for Fitzmorris.

Regarding Jalen Blackmon, who took an official visit last week, I don't really have anything new to report. It's between NU and Miami, and they're hoping to hear about his decision soon.
