Hard to believe what a few weeks brings...
Perhaps, never felt worse about NU football than after the Minnesota game after suffering through an entire season of poor coaching, poor play, and bad injuries.
And then...
- We kick the snot out of Illinois
- Fitz removes McCall and replaces him with a highly credible coach (who will hopefully be excellent)
- Flip Jordan Butler
- Get aggressive on what appears to be good QB recruits
- Looking at a grad transfer scene with lots of potential solid adds
Now... Feeling really good about the future
A few conclusions, which probably should never have been doubted:
- Fitz wants to win and will continue to evolve his thinking to make it happen
- The stability in our program is a huge strength, and when other programs go into chaotic turnover, creates opportunities both via grad transfers and new recruits
Can't wait for 2020. #GoCats!
