2024-25 Northwestern Transfer Tracker

The Halkyard one obviously isn’t a big deal, but it strikes me as very odd. It’s not like he’s going to get some big NIL or NFL scout opportunity and he’s already as close to home as possible. Seems like the kind of guy who would benefit from another elite NU brad degree. I wonder if it’s a particular grad program or non-Chicago market he’s seeking to enter.

Likely he wasn't asked to return, freeing up a scholarship. Freshman Jack Florentine was supposed to be the top snapper in Illinois.

It's ba-ack....

Very generous to say a crowded WR room that kept Fleurima off the field. Not much to recommend besides Kirtz and Henning.

I imagine Fleurima’s offers will be…of lower stature than they were out of high school.

Excellent that he took advantage of his skills and graduated early. I hope he excels wherever he lands next.

Clearly he stuck around to graduate with an NU diploma. Boggles my mind that there are people on this board who don't understand this.

Wish he'd have done better as a football player, but he has done well for himself career-wise.

Of course, NU could have paid him to participate in practice and training - beyond the free education and housing. That would have been smart.

Hard to understand how a highly recruited player like him cannot see the field on this team/offense. Cannot help but question coaches but there could be other things involved.

What boggles my mind is their are people in this board that think the lure of a Northwestern diploma by itself in 2025 will be able to attract enough top players for a consistent winning program.

We seem to be recruiting like northern Illinois University does out of hs. They beat nd. But if we are gonna compete in big 18. We need to spend at least as much as illini iowa etc. Why did Braun brag about our niu like spending 🙄??

The portal isn’t even officially open yet. Give it a couple of weeks before you pass judgement.

Fleurima is going the route of Genson Hooper-Price. Can't blame the coaches, he just didn't pan out.

By the way, GHP transferred to Coastal Carolina and couldn't even start. He had one catch all year.
