I was just talking football with a former running back from the University of Houston, and made the point that schools that previously played by the rules now in some ways are at much less of a disadvantage. Particularly if they spread the wealth among a wider swath of solid players and don’t spend the majority of NIL money placing bets on a few blue chippersI dont see what’s changed. Buckeye players were being paid before NIL. This is not new.
