4 More Wins to NIT?

2-1 in final 3 plus 1-1 in BTT would put us at an even 16-16 so no go there

Win the last 3, then 1-1, and that's 17-16., or win 2 of 3 then 2-1 in BTT is 17-16. Gotta believe that NIT would take a NU team that had won 7 or 8 of their last 9.

Seems like it will take 4 more wins... so we are halfway there.

Actually, we are currently 14-14, so 2-1 in final 3 plus 1-1 would make us 17-16. I think that gets us in with the finish we'd have. 17-17 with 1-2 in the final 2, but 2 BTT wins also gets us in, I think. So, I say 3 is the magic number.

Additionally, if we went 2-1 and then 0-1 in the BTT, we'd still end up at 16-16 and there is a chance we'd get in with just 2 wins (you just need .500 - the record in the last 7 regular season games would be strong, though losing in the BTT might be killer).

I think u may be right Evanstoncat. If we get in,we will go far! Also, we can win two games in BT tourney.

Check your math. We are 14-14 so 2-1 regular season and 1-1 would have us 17-16

But if we were to go 2-1 in final three we would likely have to play a 10-7 game and currently that would be Indiana I would guess that might still get us in.
