Its great to hear of high school prospects who list academics as a priority.
That is one of NU's only recruiting advantages.
Credit to the parents, presumably. There has to be a plan B if the NFL doesn't pan out.

Having said that, I tend to agree with Gato Luoco (primarily a basketball commenter) that NU can draw "serious interest" and "they're in my top 3" from recruits, but often thats just to show that the prospect is a smart kid, or to mollify his parents. Sealing the deal is the challenge. The better they are, the less they're thinking about "Plan B."

Would be a fantastic commit.
