B1G might be in trouble this year. Some of our traditionally strong teams, such as Wisconsin and Ohio State, are down, and the bottom of the league looks bad. Penn State lost to Radford by 12 last night. The Northwestern game could be a swing game in the challenge as it looks as if we'll fall somewhere around the middle of the road.

Indiana lost to Wake Forest in Maui and looked weak. Ridiculous turnovers for a 3 guard offense. Purdue looks decent but BIG 10 is down a bit,

Perspective, fellas. A "down" Big Ten is still solidly among the top conferences in America. Or any other country, for that matter ;).

The ACC is a phenomenal conference this year. If we won the challenge, I would be shocked. Glad we draw the worst team in the conference, tho.

Yes, but it's always great to stick a pin in the smug ACC's balloon. It's especially irritating to watch North Carolina lording it around in the top ten when they should be on probation. Not to mention Sorry-excuse.

Michigan State actually has looked very good so far, and Izzo's teams usually get a lot better as the year goes on. These challenges usually depend on matchups.

The good folks on Chestnut Hill might debate that point.......

Yeah, still give the edge to Va. Tech tho. Problem, is, they are both worldbeaters compared to our bottom two (Penn State and Rutgers) who are two of the worst teams in a power conference, period.

You think Va Tech is better than NU? As a point of reference, JvZ started there and was their best big last year before he transferred, btw...

I believe he was comparing Va Tech to BC in giving Va Tech the edge in being worse than BC.

This. ECat, please don't take this a slam, but I think you have to read posts a bit more closely before responding. You did the exact same thing in the message board posting history thread to Glades. I am OK getting critiqued on my posts, but you make it tougher when you don't read and understand the post.

Fair and sorry for misreading. But, I do have something like 20K posts. A misread from time to time will happen.
