All the games I cared about today were blowouts.

I think this will become more pronounced in the future as the professional teams separate themselves from the college teams.

I think eventually the FBS will split into two divisions, with the pro teams forming the FPS (Football Professional/Playoff Subdivision) while the college teams continue as the FBS to play in bowl games and give up on the arms race.

If they give up on the arms race won't they be violating the Supreme Court decision that started all this?
The Supreme Court case said nothing about NIL and only addressed payments related to educational expenses (computers, etc.).

Separately, certain states passed NIL laws and the NCAA threw up their hands and gave up rather than try to fight it.

The have-nots are going to determine that they can't keep pace with the NIL resources of the haves to remain competitive with them.

That’s the American way, baby!

Yeah…the NCAA folded. Can’t hardly blame them though, the train always had full momentum, and they’re in survival mode like everyone else. But you’re right, the current scene is bursting at the seems with its lawlessness and something else significant will take place in about 5 years. NU will intimately be a have-not. Maybe the AD can nurture a new rivalry with Utah State.
