Yeah there was a game today (and I watched the whole thing), but the whole time, I was thinking more about whether we'd be able to find a win against Michigan or Illinois.

Ohio State is a loaded team and their real test (and Indiana's) is next week.

For us, it's whether we can top either of Michigan or Illinois in the next 2 weeks.

I think we have a decent shot at winning 1 of the 2 (something like 30-40% chance of grabbing 1 win).

Neither Michigan nor Illinois nor NU are particularly good. Win a dog fight, the extra practices would be HUGE.

Neither of those men play offense. The NU defense is good enough to win, it is the other side of the ball that needs work.
I think we were OK today in the big picture aside from the poor snaps. Play calling was great, having Kirtz back was great, Lausch was good. We just weren’t going to score much on OSU anyway and could have had a few FGs but went for it on 4th or turned it over.

Lujan called his best game of the season today. Not enough of those touchdown plays but the overall direction was good. Lausch is definitely improving although still a below average B1G QB at this point. I still don’t understand how the coaches have not been able to fix the little things like the poor snaps by Carsello that has been plaguing us every game that he is the center, or the stupid penalties. Make Casello snap it 100 times after practice or something, but fix the damn problem. We’re already handicapped on the talent front, but we need to be excellent in areas that we can control.
