Yes. Was going to say. He went to the locker room for 5 minutes of real time but came back out with his jersey on, no brace, etc. IIRC, when Ty got hurt against Nebraska last year he changed into sweats and was clearly limping. Didn’t see that from Leach fwiw.He walked back to the bench under his own power so I am going to be optomistic. Amazing how this team held on to win without him in there.
I would presume he will get an MRI tomorrow, hopefully no major issues but I’m concerned.Yes. Was going to say. I’m incredibly concerned and will be lighting several candles tonight in hopes it was just a knee twist or at worst some kind of sprain that causes him to miss little time.I would presume he will get an MRI tomorrow, hopefully no major issues but I’m concerned.
That was my first reaction too with how his leg was planted and his knee being pushed inward. The way it buckled with the plant, I thought he had blown his ACL. Generally encouraging that he walked off (ginergly) on his own, but a lot of guys walk off the field after tearing an ACL. Also a good sign that he stayed on the bench.
Still, an ACL tear would not shock me.
Hard to believe that there wouldn’t be some kind of meniscus injury or at least mild ligament type injury given how he tentative he was after the injury. Maybe he was just being super cautious after the injury. Let’s hope for good news. That was my first reaction too with how his leg was planted and his knee being pushed inward.
