Any word on Leach injury?

Brutal if true.

Time for the youngin to step up. Excpectation are now low, pressure on them should be less. Be hungry young fellas.
Some young energetic media intern in the program needs to create our hype video for next year using this delicious anthem from Michael Bolton:

Shadows fall
Through the darkness we reach
As the hunger calls
Then you run
To the passion that takes you over
No lookin' back
The chance will never come again
You risk it all
For your dream
Won't let you go

When you feel the hunger
Driving you on
To your one desire
Alone through an endless night
And the need's never satisfied

Through these eyes
Seen a river of tears
Seen the strong survive
Separate lives
And the emptiness makes you wonder
Blame it on love
You had it all and it's not enough
You'll never change
A slave to the fire
It never ends

Still we've got Luke Hunger
Driving you on
To your one desire
Never deny your heart
The need to be satisfied

Still you feel the hunger
The primitive right
Of a restless breed
Surrendering all your life
To the true nature of the beast

No looking back
The chance will never come again
You give it all to your dream
It never ends.

God bless you, Wildcat Nation.

He also knew that Barnhizer reinjjred foot and was out for the season which appears to have been correct. Confirmed by collins before another talk. The man has a source!
I’m 99% sure he has a buddy from growing up who is a student manager. The guru dude goes to ND (and the managers are about his age) but grew up an NU fan and still has NU as his favorite team. He’s a little bit full of himself but he has a lot of passion for the ‘Cats.

Given that NU is clearly out of the tournament wouldn't a Leach season ending injury have an upside in terms of giving younger players experience for next year? Hate to see Leach injured- he's been great - but isn't it that time in the season to look to next year?

The fat lady had not yet sung on our season.

I'll give that an unequivocal "No". I don't believe that any experience that young players that comes from playing more minutes than they are ready for is really beneficial long term. Even if there is a little upside, it pales in comparison to the joy I get from a Wildcat victory.

I too would rather see the 2 young guys battle with 2 vets over an available 50 or so minutes per game rather than all four of them forced to fill a full 80 minutes.

The schedule it in the Cats' favor for the next 2 games. Washington has one less day of rest and Oregon has to fly back west after their game at Michigan State tomorrow. Keep hope alive!

That Oregon team is going to be really angry and desperate for a win.

It is hard to look at the current roster and envision where 70 points will come from. I will b rooting them on, but just not sure where the points come from.

Of course.
I'm answering the question you asked, not something related to our chances of winning.
