I went back and listed to Tuesday's Big Ten coaches teleconference to hear what Fitz had to say. I usually am unable to make it for the live call, but I always listen to the recording. Much to my surprise, not one reporter asked Fitz a question. I have never seen (or, I guess, heard) that before. His entire recording was 48 seconds. Fitz said he was a big fan of the new format before signing off (this year, if no one asks a question after two prompts the calls are terminated). Interestingly, Fitz had the shortest call last week, too. That's unusual because Fitz usually gives long answers, but he only got a couple questions.
What does it all mean? Probably nothing. Just thought it was interesting because Fitz is usually popular with the media.
