B1G may cut requirement to schedule a nonconference P5 game

At what point can we expect to start seeing USC and UCLA incorporated into future FB schedules?

I personally don‘t like this idea. I’m sure the coaches love it since it makes getting to 6 wins even easier. As a fan I’d much rather see us play a real team versus Howard or Western Illinois. Plus NU usually has a disturbing trend of blowing a game versus a team that should be a cupcake.

It's better scheduling Virginia Tech, Iowa State or Vanderbilt than scheduling #9 Tulane which beat USC and Kansas State? The Power 5 and Group of 5 split is dumb.

It’s a good thing, but I’m confident we’ll continue to schedule Duke as often as we can.

In the past after we wen to 12 game schedule and had 8 conference game, seemed like we often had a couple harder games. That became less necessary as we went to 9 conference games. Could this be an early indicator than a 10 conference game may be on the way?
