Ball State

what we know about our 2nd game this year against a Cardinals (sic) squad

They score a lot and give up a lot of points
They can run the ball and passing is improving.
They spread it around - 4 guys with more catches/yards than C.Jones, for instance
Kicker made a 43 yard/missed one more than 50
Like everyone else (except us) in September, it's hard to tell due to level of competition (is Eastern as putrid as historically?)
Regardless of their good stats, I don't imagine they will have any better luck running the ball than SU/DU.
Likewise, the new QB is probably no better than Hogan's hero or Sirk de Soleil

Home game with students in the stands and (probably) not very many opposing fans.

If we don't give the ball away, this should be a W. Maybe we won't go 5/6 deep at tailback this week, but at minimum we should be able to run the ball.

Neuheisel has this as a trap game for NU.
