Kugler and Bardo were on our legendary 2017 win over Michigan at WRA so they are on my good side forever lol. Not to mention Bardo did our buzzer beating win over Maryland just earlier this season…
Ok if I missed he called the Maryland game then my bad! Thought it was another crew.
Got it thanks. Bardo is given a temporary pass then but only if we win the next game he calls.
Bardo has about the same effect on Cats' levels of play and game outcomes as I do -- and I live a thousand miles or more from any Big 10 site. To associate him with wins or losses is sheer superstition.
Why not sync Dave & Billy's radio broadcast to the video coverage? I prefer Eanet to any other p-b-p guy, and who could question McKinney's value as color commentator? I prize Styre's listings of scheduled TV air talent here as much as anyone, but don't necessarily care to listen to any of them. (Maybe Shon Morris excepted.)

Bardo had Stuart Scott (RIP) rolling in his grave today when he said a player was "as SMOOTH as the other side of the pillow."
Not quite -- in Houston TX.
(Actually, Bloomington IN is only about 960 miles away, but close enough.)
My main problem with him is that his commentary and analysis always bend around referee impacts unless he is straight up praising them regardless what they're actually doing. So his work is often detached from events on the court.

Bardo just seems like a guy that so overly nice and complimentary to everyone. Which is nice sometimes. But sometimes a good announcer can have some criticism.
