Best seats at the Pinstripe Bowl?

I've only attended one Yankees game at their new stadium (full disclosure: I'm a proud Cubs fan). However I'm concerned about getting a decent seat: it was easy to pick at the standard football stadiums of the Alamo, Gator, and Outback Bowl, but this baseball layout is pretty weird (second disclosure: I wasn't able to attend the Wrigley fiasco a few years back).

Can anyone recommend seating sections that would provide the best vantage point/viewer experience for the game? I've been hoping for this particular bowl game since the 0-2 start - as it's just two train rides away - and I don't want to skimp on the seat.

Not going to be of much help based on any personal experience, but looking at the graphic of the football field placed in Yankee Stadium makes it look like the seats between the 20s are separated from the field of play by a significant distance. Again, just looking at the graphic, it appears that the best way to see the field of play without being half a mile away or having to turn your neck all game is to get seats that look out from the "end zones."

If you go to the pinstripe bowl game site they have a seating chart for th stadium configuration.

I believe the NU side is right field, correct?

I think this image might be a couple years old but it gives a pretty decent look. I would think those seats in the lowest level by the foul pole wouldn't be too great...but being up a level might not be half bad. You'd be able to see over the players on the sideline at least...

The best seats will be in a luxury box.
I was in one of those for the one yankees game I attended. It was fun as I was indifferent about the outcome, but I want to cheer loudly and impactfully for our Cats. Thus I'd rather be closer to the field.

FWIW, I bought tickets in sec. 214 for $65 off of Ticketmaster (the Big Ten/NU side) - honestly, I figured 200-level would generally yield the best sight lines. From the diagrams it looks like the corner...one section over nearly doubled in price to $125...

Been there, done that. Not anxious to do it again, especially in winter.

One of the best seats for me for the game will be a comfy one in a sports bar of my selection in warm and sunny Sandy Eggo. I will buy and donate a couple of tix to the game in support of the program. Go Cats!

I used to watch rugby at the Princess Pub near L'il Italy-pretty good food but maybe not a true sports bar although there are plenty of TVs. They serve draught Smithwicks and Shepherds' pie

Doc- I know of the Princess Pub but have not been there before. I've been to Shakespeare'a on India Street. When I lived in Pacific Beach I would go to Cass Street Bar & Grill for sporting events. Now that I live up the coast in Del Mar I go to the local Oggi's pizza/beer place or to Chief's in Solana Beach across the street from the train station- which strangely enough is the hangout for Denver football fans. not KC fans. Since it now looks ever more likely we will be losing the Chargers to LA, I might switch and become a Broncos fan now that a Wildcat has been leading the team.
