At the end of the day, I think all we can do is hope that this ends up like our basketball situation is now.
There's a path forward where we have a team that draws enough support from the students/community to have a strong enough home crowd to give us a real advantage.
Against the Ohio States and Michigans and Nebraskas and Iowas of the world it's always going to be tough, but we can have something in football that decently approximates what we've had in basketball over the past 15 months.
Just have to have the kind of success that captures that lightning in a bottle.
