Will NU show up?
Will the media allow Coach Braun and the three players to talk football?
I hope it's not a bunch of " no comment"

Of course they’ll show up. What the media will do is unfortunately fairly predictable. I hope the Big Ten preempts them and shuts down any questions about the hazing lawsuit/Fitz.

Maybe spare the players from having answer questions regarding hazing, lawsuits, dismissals, etc
Only way to do that is for the players not to participate

Shame on the NU "leadership" if Braun or, even worse, one of the players is the first NU representative to talk live to the media about this whole mess.
Unless the 2 geniuses running the University and the Athletic Department put themselves in front of the cameras either today or tomorrow, that looks like exactly what's going to happen.

The players would be wise to boycott.

issue a statement....." while there is legal action we have been advised etc, etc......." we will not be taking questions.
or spread it all over by opeining with "well we know that this going on at other universities...and let them have to make public statements that could come back to haunt them.

Yeah, pretty incredible that Gragg or Schill hasn't had a single press conference and now are putting a coach that was just thrown into this mess and three college kids in front of the media to be the first representatives of NU to be in an open media environment. Cowardice leadership. Shouldn't be surprised, but I am.

There will be a dozen workaround questions — how has this affected the culture of your team, how has your team handled this adversity, blah blah. I hope he comes out strong and gives everyone something small to be happy about.
