Basically I'm not saying top big ten talent I'm saying for sure not lower tier big ten talent.

That's fair. I was really just responding to Ecat's claim that we were "on par with the top half of the conference". I love the positive attitude, but that statement is not accurate.

I think we're just talking minutia. If you broke the conference into three groups (instead of two) talent-wise, I'd put NU somewhere in the middle grouping. These facilities upgrades, however, will play a large role in helping Collins get the 'Cats to the top level in conference and then perhaps nationally (ala Duke).

So, far in our only game against the "top tier" of this season we got crushed. If we "crush back" Purdue, after beating Mary and Wiscy, while not losing to the lesser teams, we would have a legitimate claim to be a member of the top tier. But we haven't yet done it, and all that is far easier said than done.

Read the whole the exchange and what "top tier" is referring to. Hint the thread is on "facilities" not W/L.
