Can somebody tell me why Indiana isn't playing oregon instead of psu? Same records. 11-1. Same loss to osu. Is it psu was deemed to have a more difficult schedule or what?

The conference had to go to its fourth tiebreaker to resolve this:

1. Head to head (N/A)
2. Record against common conference opponents (identical)
3. Record against all common opponents (identical)
4. Cumulative conference strength of schedule

So because Penn State's conference opponents had a better cumulative conference record than Indiana's, Penn State gets the championship berth.
