Harbaugh blew the clock management at the end. Loved the snapshot of his dad in the stands saying “what the heck are you doing”.

Michigan in big games is different for a lot of reasons. Being a lifelong Buckeye state resident is just the beginning.

GOUNUII
Any Michigan loss is a good one. If they were playing the Axis Powers, I'd be tempted to get an armband.

(But - I hate Illinois Nazis)

We've known for a while that Ohio State is the only BIG team built to compete at this level

Modern clock management says wait until you have more data on down and distance to start burning timeouts given that specific situation (3 timeout, 3 mins and change). You wait on to see how many yards they gain on first or second down. If the opponent is getting to third and long and they just got tackled in bounds, call the timeout. If its 3rd and short wait it out and call timeout if you stop them.

Additionally, many coaches would have burned a timeout after TCU converted on 3rd, but the chains moving buys you and extra 5+ seconds of game clock vs the play clock by waiting a play. It’s tough to do because emotionally watching the clock get so low can be excruciating. Right decision though.

The Harbaugh brothers are pretty good in that type of scenario. Dad’s from a different era. If anything, the runs on the previous drive were more an issue, but I can see wanting to give McCarthy a mental break from all the processing he was doing. QBs need it from time to time, especially considering the game flow.

Funny how we don’t have to see McCarthy’s parents and girlfriend when he throws his 2nd pick 6.

Michigan has made a lot of mistakes but TCU is winning the line of scrimmage and when you do that you usually win.
No one wants to see McCarthy’s dad feel up his son’s gf again.

Maybe even E-Cat can set down his resentment to admire the effort duh-OSU put out yesterday. Just a FG away from dethroning the reigning champs and the championship game. They played a great game and didn't resemble the team that lost to UM.

Same for the effort UM put out. Could easily have gone the other way. One of the best games I've seen.

OK, that's enough admiration, let's resume resentment.

Watched Bammer destroy KSU, who had just played their best game of the season to beat TCU the second time they faced each other. They looked strong. But not against Bammer. The nouncers reminded us that Bammer's only losses were via walk-off FG and a late-game 2-point conversion.

Where? His hand brushing against her ass as he turns? That’s what all the fuss is about?
Indisputable video evidence of both hands altering direction to rub ass.

At least he didn’t pretend to yawn and put his arm around her, or pretend to trip and accidentally brush her chest.

The games were amazing. OSU’s kick failed right as the countdown was going to zero. Pretty dramatic, for what it was.

The game ending kick was about 5-10 seconds before the stroke of midnight which was kind of cool. I thought OSU’s last few play calls leading up to the long FG attempt left something to be desired.

Could've used some pointers from Fitz. Just run the ball every play of the last series. .

NFL is today. Sorry, Charlie.
Cheer for the Detroit Lions (fun!) and Carolina Panthers (comedy!) and New Orleans Saints (chaos!) today.
NFL? More like Not in my F’ing Lazer focus.

Lions didn’t need much help. Da Bears are Dat Bad.

Tulane defense struggling against U$C. Maybe DC Chris Hampton is distracted by his job offer from a B1G program. Or not ...

Bowl season not so good for the B1G as it turns out.

Purdue performing as expected against LSU.

Not unexpected given Brohm’s departure and the talent mismatch. I am surprised Illinois didn’t do better.

Illini were missing Chase Brown on offense, Witherspoon and Brown's brother on defense and their all-world DC. Purdue without O'Connell had no chance (not that they would have anyway against Jayden Daniels and LSU). That was a really bad matchup for Purdue (shades of the 2000 Alamo Bowl). Will be interesting to see what Bielema can do without Lovie recruits.
