Accurate long snapping is an integral part of a successful punt unit. Unless we get significant incoming talent on the OL, at WR and at QB, we will be punting a lot.

George Burman made a career Out of snapping. BEARS,RAMs and REDSKINS all for George Allen. That said all it takes is a person who will take the time to perfect that skill. I have taught several tight ends to do this. Much easier now that the defense can not line up a man on his head.

Lou, it isn't necessarily that he is a long snapper, it is that we are so devoid of actual playmakers at the moment, that landing a new long snapper isn't anything to get excited about. 2025 thus far is looking like a dumpster fire waiting to happen.
