How much did he cost our NIL cash stockpile?
New Dark Age commencing in 3… 2… 1…Not much, considering we don’t offer inducements to incoming HS recruits.

this recruit is interesting. He had solid offers but, after watching his tape, I am surprised he didn't have more. Credit to Braun. How much did he cost our NIL cash stockpile?

Both.Credit to Aristotle.
Both.
“It was really coach (Aristotle Thompson) and coach (David) Braun,” Morris told Rivals' Adam Gorney. “They really brought it home for me.
Why is this loser constantly posting on this board?

thank you
And JarvisLiquorsMaybe Turk will be back soon as well.
I thought Turk, Glades, and midvale all stopped posting?Maybe Turk will be back soon as well.
I suppose I might, too, if I were an ILL fan that watched NU beat them so many times between 2000-20. They were lost in the wilderness and now they have an actual program. It's like how Michigan is crowing about beating OSU 4 straight after losing like 18 of 20Why is this loser constantly posting on this board?
Hopefully the other two return now that WickerTurk is back baby!I thought Turk, Glades, and midvale all stopped posting?
Glades still posts occasionally. Midvale Dave has had some serious health issues, and has been gone for a long time. Does anyone know whether he's still alive?Hopefully the other two return now that WickerTurk is back baby!

Sure hope so. I once spent a few hours with Dave at the Cats' fall camp, and he was enjoyable to to be with. I too would be glad if Turk is back with us. (Could never understand the anti-Turk feelings sometimes expressed here.) But then -- at risk of sounding too Will Rogers-like -- I never met a person from this board I didn't like. Sorry that current family circumstances prevent traveling to NU sports as I could some years back. Met some fine people.Glades still posts occasionally. That's great news - do you have any contact with him? Is there any chance of getting him back in the fold, even if it's only on the free board.I’m happy to report that Midvale Dave is still very much alive.
Yep, I wonder about him as well. His first name is Cary I believe. He was at uber's tailgate in the West lot at almost every home game. Midvale, Turk, Alan Smithee, and numerous other luminaries were there as well. They were to the north of the families of players and our tailgate was to the south of the families. Sometimes Glades and FloridAlum would show up as well. Maybe somebody with a better memory than this old man can list some of the others as wellThe one I wonder about is @willycat.
Long time poster and season ticket holder. Haven’t heard or seen anything from him in quite a while. 🤷♂️

How about Fiadich, (pronounced Faydjic) and his wife, as well as the guy from Houston who sometimes flew in just for the day. Also, Alaskawildcat came in for homecoming, usually bearing some smoked salmon, and divided his time between our tailgate and uber's. I'm sure he has some photos he could post. You did pretty well! JustGary was another that comes to mind. And who could forget Shakes!

Good to hear. This is a big year for me because I'll be attending my 60th NU reunion. Other than that game in early October I don't know how many others I will do. I have to drive from Erie to Cleveland, fly to Chicago, and then take an Uber or cab to Evanston. No more 450 mile drives for me!Fiadich (and wife) both alive and doing well. Had the pleasure of seeing them in Dublin. He’s more of a lurker these days. There’s a good chance you will see them this fall.

Your first two sentences contradict each other.Tulane road trip! I’ll be flying in for that one. Love NOLA!
Do you Predict that he’ll flip to the Green Wave like the other recruit???Let's hope he stays!
Cary (willycat) helped organize the mini Purple Party at the Rice game in 2010, since FloridAlum couldn't make the trip to Houston for that one. Purple Party in NOLA? I'll likely be driving over for the game, possibly with a couple of kids. I assume it'll be a night game due to the heat and humidity.Tulane road trip! I’ll be flying in for that one. Love NOLA!
If you all do this then you should clearly hold the Purple Party at Strief’s brewery (they serve delicious food too!).Purple Party in NOLA? I'll likely be driving over for the game, possibly with a couple of kids. I assume it'll be a night game due to the heat and humidity.

I think FloridAlum was friends with his parents so a gathering there would be most apropos.
Don't forget the occasional visit from Alaskacat (or was he at yours) though he still posts. Also the Pumpkin Smasher (well he smashed them when we played IL). I may drive down with Uber. There's room in my RAV 4 for others.Tulane road trip! I’ll be flying in for that one. Love NOLA!
