Sullivan is ready to start his third game this season for the injured Ben Bryant against Maryland.

I talked to Brendan Sullivan this morning about how he grades his performance so far, what he's working on going forward, and preparing for likely his third start of the season against Maryland.

Sullivan is probably the best QB that Bajakian has developed. And he can't grasp even the very basics of playing the position.

I think he throws well. Even against Nebraska, he had some good connections. He certainly takes too many sacks. How much of that is on him and how much of that is on his protection?

I felt about 3 of the 8 he had a role in

The good news is that neither end zone will be needed at Wrigley, simplifying field set-up.

He misses obvious reads and on rare occasions when the protection is good he still bails out completely unnecessarily.
