They’ve lost 9 in a row. That’s going to be a bad loss, sadly. Better win tomorrow or we’re on life support.

Butler started 7-1 , beating a ranked Mississippi State team by double digits, and then the wheels came off. Just shows you how competitive college hoops can be in the Power5. DePaul had that nice start but now they are 0-6 in the Big East after getting pounded at home today by a middling Xavier team. None of our nonconference wins are looking like anything to hang our hat on. NCAA chances are a longshot I would say. Let's just enjoy this competitive season watching some of the guys who led us to two straight NCAA appearances.

To be fair, Butler has had a brutal schedule during this losing streak, and the only real unacceptable loss came three days after they played Houston, who is known for being exhausting to recover from playing against. If they can't beat Seton Hall at home then it'll be really bad.

At least today they were competitive. Seeing it in the arena it felt they had no real plan to counter Creighton’s strong points.

Butler was better offensively than usual, but no ability to slow down Creighton.

Far from certain that we’d win that Butler game in OT but Brooks makes that layup to tie the game about 98% of the time. And of course that followed what should have been a 4-point play opportunity to take the lead but missed by the refs.
We don’t have any good non-conference wins so I think we need to go 10-10 in conference to make the tourney. The Iowa and Penn State losses really hurt because they give us such little margin for error the rest of the way.

Penn state loss on the refs. Haven't heard anything about refs who are crooked and [what are we, 9 years old again? Be better]
