Can't say we didn't have some decent looks down the stretch

Law had a wide open 3 pointer on the right wing. Skelly had a nice look from the top of the key. McIntosh had a 5 footer he's made many times before, but the defense was good and he had to alter his shot. Still I thought he'd made it.

I don't like the freeze mode either though, I think they should try to concentrate working through the post more in end of game situations. I suspect Collins is afraid they'll get double teamed and turn it over, but Pardon is a good passer and there probably would be an open shot opportunity if that were the case.

Lumpkin fouling out really hurt. It would've been nice is Brown could've gotten in there to spell McIntosh a bit but Collins just didn't trust him in this game. The defense on the last two possessions was really poor, due to indecision more than anything. No way Blackmon should've gotten that open look, and on his drive and dish, it seemed like the backside was totally left open because of the penetration. Gotta man up and stick to your man in that scenario.

A very painful loss but I give the guys credit for clawing back like that. When you're up 7 on the road with a minute 33 left, you just have to close the deal. On to Michigan...
