Northwestern is trying to make the most out of its last home game of the season in terms of recruiting. It may be a longshot for the Wildcats to beat No. 10 Minnesota on the field, but they may be able to score some recruiting victories in the stands at Ryan Field.
Just one of the more than 20 players who will be on hand is a commitment and only two others are Class of 2020 recruits, so the Wildcats are focused much more on the future than the present.That's no surprise, considering that there are only a couple spots left in this class.
The overwhelming majority of the recruits are from the Class of 2021, but there are a few 2022s and even a 2023 -- meaning he is just a freshman. There are also a few players who are coming with a teammate.
