Northwestern is trying to use Wrigley Field to close out its 2022 class.

WildcatReport has learned that the program will host 16 prospects from the Class of 2022 through 2024 for its game on Saturday against Purdue at the Cubs historic home field. While many of them are no doubt preferred walkon candidates, there are three intriguing 2022s on the guest list who the Wildcats could be eyeing to cap off their 2022 class:

CB Jordan Coleman
Coleman is a Ball State commit who also reported offers from Army, Navy, Kansas and three other MAC programs. He committed to Ball State in June, per 247. There haven't been any stories on him in the Rivals network.

WR Elijah Griffin
Griffin, another St. Louis prospect, reported early offers from Kentucky and Kansas but hasn't had a story on him in the Rivals network since June of 2020. He also received early interest from Kentucky, Notre Dame, Missouri, Kansas, and Miami-OH. He's listed as an athlete but NU is interested in him as a wide receiver.

LB Tyler Stolsky
Stolsky is a Lehigh commit who also reports offers from Air Force, Penn, Dartmouth and some MAC programs. Earlier this month he picked up a preferred walkon offer from Minnesota, so the Wildcats might be interested in the same thing.

2022 COMMITS
As I reported earlier, 2022 cornerback commits Evan Smith and Braden Turner, a couple of Bama Boys, will be in the stands tomorrow. I hope they are prepared for some cold weather.

2023 and 2024 PROSPECTS
There will be a group of 2023 and 2024 prospects on hand, many of whom are not listed in the Rivals database. Two intriguing local ones are:

2023 OL Asher Tomaszewski, who is listed as a DT but is being recruited as an OL for NU. He has interest from several schools but not an offer yet.

2024 WR Cam Williams, a long, lanky receiver who already has offers from Illinois, Iowa and three MAC programs.
