The men's golf team won first place at the Rod Myers Invitational hosted by Duke University. Our amazing freshman/senior duo of Matt Fitzpatrick and Jack Perry tied for medalist honors-- the first time in program history. Every piece of hardware on the championship table went to a Wildcat. This is the men's second championship finish of the season (young season I might add). Forget about what happened in Madison yesterday and celebrate a great program, great kids, and great coach! Great to see other kids playing well too. Matt Negri is really improving as is Josh Jameson. Bennett Lavin has shown the ability to score as well. I'd love to see progress made in the winter (off) season and make a run at the NCAAs. I know Matt and Jack will be contenders.
